Callout, Glendalough, Wicklow, 24/06/18
At 16:30hrs Sunday 24th June, 2018, The Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist a child who had taken a fall in the Glendalough area.
The child took a fall from steep ground onto the green road in Glendalough and suffered a suspected fractured arm. He was assessed by National Park Staff and an MR Medic. His injury was treated and he was transported to a waiting ambulance.
The incident was stood down at 17:38hrs. We would like to thank the Wicklow Mountains National Park and the HSE National Ambulance Service (NAS) for their assistance.
