Call Out 63: Camaderry Rescue 23/10/16
At approximately 13.50hrs on Sunday the 23rd of October both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were requested by the National Parks and Wildlife Staff to come to the assistance of a teenage boy who had suffered a lower leg injury while descending Camaderry with a youth group.
Mountain Rescue personnel treated him on scene before placing him in an MR 4×4 stretcher capable vehicle. He was then transported to a waiting HSE Ambulance which brought him to hospital for definitive care.
