Call Out 37: Barnaslingan Rescue 12/06/16
At approximately 14:45hrs on Sunday, June 12th, both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to assist a 57-year-old female near Barnaslingan. The woman sustained an ankle injury whilst walking on the Dublin Mountain Way with a hillwalking group.
Mountain Rescue personnel located the hillwalker and treated her for her injury. She was then packaged into a stretcher and transported to an MR vehicle for transfer to a waiting ambulance. The incident was stood down at aproximately 16:20hrs.
