Belgian Scout Troop Volunteer at Glen Base
The Glen Team were happy to host a work camp for a Belgian scout troop. 21 volunteers of ages 16-18 yr old took up residence at Glen Base from Thursday to Monday morning.
They used their muscle while volunteering with the Wicklow Mountains National Park for one day and then followed up by working around Glen Base over the weekend.
The scouts enjoyed some rambles around the area and even took in a Gaelic match in Laragh on Saturday night…one of the highlights of their visit…there were also some fine Belgian chocs handed over….but they can’t be found
