At approximately 11.52hrs on Sunday the 30th of August both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin WicklowMountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochanna to come to the assistance of a man who had reported that he had become separated from his girlfriend while out walking in Glendalough. 

 

He was located at Poulanass waterfall and his girlfriend had been out of contact for 5 mins. As MR personnel were being tasked to assist him his girlfriend arrived back down to where he was and the incident was stood down.
