Glendalough Rescue 21/04/14
On Easter Monday 21/04/14 at approx 10.54hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the HSE to come to the assistance of a woman who had suffered a lower leg injury while out walking with her husband in Glendalough. Once mountain rescue medics had treated her on scene she was stretchered down from the Glenealo Valley to a waiting HSE ambulance.
