Sugarloaf Rescue 16/05/13
On Thursday 16/05/13 at 14.12hrs The Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the Ambulance Service to come to the aid of three people who had come into difficulty on Sugarloaf Mountain. One person was suffering a lower leg injury with all three suffering from hypothermia. The Coastguard helicopter airlifted all three to hospital.
