Call Out 55: Mulacor Rescue 21/09/16

At approximately 18.00hrs on Wednesday the 21st of September both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to come to the assistance of a teenage girl who was out walking with a youth group.

The girl was suffering from a lower leg injury. MR personnel were dispatched to where the group were, near Mulacor and after examining the injury assisted the teenager to a waiting MR 4×4. She was then transported to safety and the operation was stood down.
