Call Out 33: Sugarloaf Rescue 01/06/16
At 13:20hrs on Wednesday 1st June, The Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to come to the aid of a 62 year old female walker on The Sugarloaf. The lady slipped, fell and struck her head on descent.
The casualty was treated on scene by MR and HSE Medical personnel, MR personnel assisted the Coastguard winchman with packaging the casualty and she was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital.
The incident was stood down at 15:12.
