Glendalough Rescue 26/05/13
On Sunday 26/05/13 at 13.00hrs As the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were concluding two separate training exercises both teams were tasked to come to the aid of a young woman who had suffered a lower leg injury while walking down toward the Glenealo River from the Spinc. Once she was treated for her injuries she was stretcher carried on down to a waiting ambulance near the Miners Village.
