Call Out 36: Dalkey Quarry Rescue 15/6/17

At 22:05hrs on Thursday, June 15th, Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist with an incident in Dalkey Quarry.

National Ambulance Service paramedics treating a fallen climber were joined by mountain rescue (MR) and Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard Unit personnel. An MR doctor provided medical assistance at the scene. MR and coast guard personnel, with some help from members of An Garda Síochána, evacuated the climber in a stretcher to a waiting ambulance. The incident was stood down at 22:56hrs.
