Call Out 21: Trooperstown Hill Rescue 12/3/17

At 17:40 on Sunday 12th March 2017 An Garda Síochána tasked the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team to come to the assistance of a 43 year old male in the Trooperstown Hill area.

The man had sustained a shoulder injury while out running in the area. He was assessed at the scene by an Mountain Rescue(MR) medic. His injury was stabilised and painkillers were administered. He was then transferred to an MR Landrover and transported to a HSE ambulance where he was again assessed by a paramedic and taken to hospital. The incident was stood down at 18:50.
