Call Out 60: Cloghernagh Search 04/10/16
Call Out 60: At approximately 13.54hrs on Tuesday the 4th of October both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to come to the assistance of a man who had become disoriented in poor visibility conditions while walking up Cloghernagh mountain, near Lugnaquilla
Mountain Rescue personnel were able to communicate with him via mobile phone. Information the man provided of his surroundings helped narrow down his location. A search party were then sent in to that point. Once the search party joined up with the man they guided him down to a waiting MR 4×4 which was able to return him to his vehicle.
