Call Out 03 Mullacor incident 26/01/15
On Monday, January 26th at approximately 12:55 both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to assist with a man who had become unwell while trekking part of the Wicklow Way with a friend.
As the man had been suffering from chest pain the Coastguard helicopter and the HSE also responded. Advanced Paramedics were airlifted to help attend to the man who was on the Wicklow Way near Mullacor.
Mountain Rescue personnel were able to assist the Coastguard with the airlift and the man was evacuated by helicopter.
