Bray Coastal Search 28/12/14
On Sunday 28 of December at approx 16.20hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to come to the assistance of a Korean woman who had become disorientated while out walking along the coastal area between Bray andGreystones.
The woman in her 20’s had diverted off the main route onto another track. She eventually found herself surrounded by dense gorse and was not able to relocate herself. At this point she called for assistance.
The Garda Air Support Heli assisted in the search and soon located the missing woman in a location south of Bray Head. The Helicopter crew kept the light on her location. Mountain Rescue personnel then walked in to where she was and escorted her to safety.
