Coastal Path Rescue 05/09/14

• At approximately 19.52hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to come to the aid of a young woman who had fallen and suffered a lower leg injury. The incident happened while she was out walking on the coastal route between Bray and Greystones. Once she was treated by members of the rescue teams she was stretchered to a waiting MR 4×4 vehicle which in turn transferred her to a HSE Ambulance.
