Carrigshouk Rescue 22/02/14
On Saturday 22/02/14 at approx 13.13hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the HSE to come to the assistance of a cyclist who had come off his bicycle near Carrigshouk, on the military road. Mountain Rescue personnel assisted the ambulance crew in attendance in treating the injured cyclist and extracting him from the steep ground where he had fallen. The HSE ambulance crew then transported him to hospital for further treatment.
