Djouce Rescue 25/01/14
On Saturday 25/01/14 at approx 13.25hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to come to the aid of a lady in her 60’s who was complaining of chest pains while out walking on Djouce Mountain. The Coastguard’s new S92 Helicopter airlifted her from the Mountain and transported her to hospital. Her companions were escorted off the hill to their vehicle by MR personnel and the incident was stood down at 14.45hrs.
