Djouce Rescue 19/01/14
On Sunday 19/01/14 at approx 18.30hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to come to the assistance of a man and two young children who had become disorientated while descending Djouce Mountain. The man and young children were located by the use of SARLOC technology and MR personnel searching the forest tracks arrived at their location and escorted them to safety.
