Sally Gap Search (25/01/13)
On Friday 25/01/13 at 2.00 Wicklow’s Mountain Rescue Teams came to the aid of a lone motorist whose vehicle had become stuck in snow on the Sally Gap.The man was found and and was brought safely to Roundwood unharmed.
Mountain Rescue would like to thank all those involved.
We continue to remind all motorists the conditions on high mountain roads are still very dangerous with snow & ice making some mountain pass roads (especially Sally Gap) impassable.
